Saint Patrick's Day

Feast of Saint Patrick or better known as Saint Patrick’s Day celebrated in Ireland originally and around the world by Irish descent especially in Britain, Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand  is a traditional, cultural and religious holiday on 17 march every year. It has its name after Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It has over 300 years of history observed by Catholic Church, Anglican Communion, Orthodox and Lutheran Church. It is commemorates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland by Saint Patrick, and also is a celebration of Irish traditions and heritage.



Known as the green festival, the traditions in this day involve public parades, carnivals and festivals by wearing green costumes or shamrocks. People also attend church services, but most of the festival is about being unrestricted on eating and drinking alcohol especially Irish beer and Whiskey.



Saint Patrick's Day is a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Newfoundland and Labrador and Montserrat. in this day people take it easy on their eating manner and try to have fun and find new friends and party all day.
