Mendoza in Argentina celebrates the season’s first grapes harvest
with holy water, this festival lasts for a month long and all streets of the
city fill with tourists and visitors who come to see parades and other
traditional performances and dances, crowds cheer and long to see the competition
of beauty queens of their regions.

After choosing the Harvest queen the festival ends with beautiful fireworks, coloring the sky and eating and drinking continues. The Festival held annually on last Sunday of February and archbishop of Mendoza starts the festival for blessing the harvest.
